Patuxent River
Appreciation Days ARTS & CRAFTS
Dear Exhibitors:
We look forward to the 30th Annual Patuxent River Appreciation Days
(P.R.A.D.) The dates are October 11 and 12, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 5
p.m. As you know, The Calvert Marine Museum hosts a large number of
family events during this festival. We hope that you will join us
for this celebration.
The Art and Craft Show Booth area will be $100 for a 15’ x 15’
space. A committee from the Calvert Artists’ Guild will judge the
booths once they are set up and offer a “Best of Show Award”, which
is free registration for PRAD 2008. Judy Horigan won the 2006 Best
In Show. Spaces are assigned on a first come, first served basis
with previous year exhibitor’s first priority.
PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL NOT BE A LARGE TENT AREA FOR BOOTHS.
Artists are responsible for providing their own setup requirements
including tables and chairs. Electricity is not available.
All new vendor Art and Craftwork will be juried. This is to ensure
that the artist makes all work and that the work is of good quality
and appropriate to a family setting. (Prior exhibitors with current
work on file need not be juried again.)
You need to send 3 slides or photos of objects for sale and 1 slide
or photo of your booth set-up; also include a self- addressed,
stamped envelope if items are to be returned.
The application deadline is August 15th. At the time you submit your
application, a deposit fee of $50 is required. If you are not
accepted, your fee will be returned. Once you are accepted, this fee
is not refundable. Your remaining balance will be due by September
25th.
