Patuxent River Appreciation Days Schedule-TBD

This event will take place on the grounds of the Calvert Marine Museum. The Arts and Crafts show and Food Vendors will be located on the paved parking lot of the museum. All visitor parking will be in the field across the street with
 easy access to the event.

This year there will be monetary prizes awarded for best floats! There will be 3 top prizes for floats that participate in the parade. $600.00 worth of cash prizes. All  floats are welcome to participate with pre-registration approval.

We need you to participate! Not only do we want floats, we want your marching bands, organizations, drill teams, honor guards, horses, fire equipment, boats, clowns, and the works. Help us make this a great parade. Any non-profit  or environmental organization is welcome to join in on the fun.

Free harbor cruises will be offered on board 2 historic vessels: the 110 year old bugeye, Wm. B. Tennison, and the skipjack Nathan of Dorchester plus:

  • Boat Building

  • Canoe rides and demonstrations

  • Free harbor cruises

  • Arts and Craft Show

  • Food Court 

  • Pet Adoptions

  • Live Music

There will be on going environmental exhibits and displays along with non-profit organizations and many children's activities.
